You know how it is where you can get someone in your own town by using all the back or side roads? But if you had to actually give directions to an out-of-towner it would virtually impossible to do?
That?s how I feel about Kalamazoo and Portage. I love every nook and cranny of this area! And I would be proud to help you learn them too!
Something important to remember when deciding which part of town to buy:
Are you planning on being in this home 1-3 years? 3-5? 5-7? More? In this area that makes a big difference on where you?d want to buy (or sell in the future). The appreciation rate of Eastwood differs from Westwood. Do you know by how much? I do and I can help!
Looking for housing for your college student? This is an area that I EXCEL. Did you know that both the city of Kalamazoo and the township of Kalamazoo redefined their definition of ?family?? Because of this, there are several areas right around campus that you CANNOT have more than TWO unrelated persons living?? This new zoning dramatically affects which house you might purchase for your students.
What about living in the downtown area yourself? What does it have to offer? I know! Or--how about living within 20 minutes of downtown, but still be in the country? I can make it happen.
